We ordered 5 of the standard discs and 2 of the JAWS discs, trying to avoid the higher cost of the JAWS discs and thinking the others may hold up...our aussie destroyed at least 1 standard disc per training session! The 2 JAWS discs are the only ones we use now and after 6 months, not a dent in either of them. They fly great and withstand ground contact/abuse well - also have a little heavier feel than standard discs. Amazing product - defintely worth the extra money. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful ![]() By Deb T. "Dog mom in Mill Creek" (Mill Creek, WA USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Hyperflite K-10 Pup Competition Standard Dog Disc (Misc.) My shepherd/terrier mix is a destructive chewer with all her toys. Usually, after one throw with a regular frisbee, it's pretty mangled by the time she returns it to me. The Jawz frisbee has lasted several weeks now, with regular use, and is still in very good condition. I don't give my dog free access to it, only when we're playing together. This frisbee looked small when I received it, but it's the perfect size for my 40 lb. dog. She loves it! I will order it again when it finally needs replacing. ![]() Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Hyperflite K-10 Pup Competition Standard Dog Disc (Misc.) This frisbee is bright in color and easy to find in deep woods or leaves. It is not very durable. My Jack Russell had it shredded into pieces within a couple of days. It's also too lightweight and therefore it doesn't fly in the direction you throw it. I have gone back to the heavier, flexible, rubber type frisbee. It works better for my dog. |
