Innova Champion Valkyrie Golf Disc Reviews
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful ![]() By This disc is excellent for long, straight shots. It's been great for making the switch from normal house discs to the thinner, heavier golf discs. I've started to throw it with a sidearm shot ("forehand" on the Innova website - see the poster they have), and the stability is amazing. Many times now, I've hit tee shots that head straight to the hole and stay on target for the whole flight. I would recommend this disc, as well as the Champion Leopard (aforementioned lost disc), as a great driver for anyone new to the sport of disc golf. It's a great one for learning the game. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful ![]() By ![]() By This review is from: Innova Champion Valkyrie Golf Disc (Sports) Beginner or experienced this disc in this plastic is among the few best discs for long drives. I carry three in different weights. Sidewinder is straighter but less forgiving of mistakes. There are always a degree of mistake. If I carried only two discs this would be the driver and the shark in same plastic would be upshot and putter. Lots of variables in upshot and putting so many have different preferences. "Valks" are world record distance disc. Incidentally if you buy two or three almost certain each will fly different even in the same weight. More weight tends to make flght steadier in wind. Valk should be in your bag unless you throw so strong and hang on slightly longer then you need more left (called "faster") disc. Assuming right hand throw. Bright color like yellow or red easier to find in bushes. Most discs are lost in time due to bushes, water, rock piles...... naughty friends, LOL |
